VANITAS: THE PROCESS

Danné Ojeda started Vanitas book series in 2013, as part of an academic-pedagogic research project entitled D-SIGN-LAB: Research Experiments on Art, Design and Science, with a focus on Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) analysis.

Two MRIs of the author’s brain were carried out, and simultaneously, book technology testing was conducted in Singapore and The Netherlands. The book series was finally produced thanks to the collaboration with individuals, institutions, and private organizations in both countries.
