›››››››› Founded in Chicago in 1950, the GOOD DESIGN AWARDS remains the oldest and the world’s most prestigious global awards program for design excellence and design innovation.
›››››››› The GOOD DESIGN Award was founded by the former MoMA curator Edgar Kaufmann, Jr., together with such pioneers in modern design as Charles and Ray Eames, Russel Wright, George Nelson, and Eero Saarinen. GOOD DESIGN honours the yearly achievements of the best industrial and graphic designers and world manufacturers for their pursuit of extraordinary design excellence.
The awarded products and graphics are accessioned into the Museum’s Permanent Design Collection and frequently exhibited in the United States and abroad.

2019 SCULPTURE 5° PRIZE · The Lorenzo Il Magnifico International Award Art, XII Florence Art Biennale, Florence, Italy.
Danne Ojeda’s book series was one of the 5 artists selected in the Sculpture category out of 700 artists presented in the exhibition.
›››››››› This award evokes the history of Florence in an age of splendour of the arts, of which we wish an enduring renascence at the time of Lorenzo de’ Medici, known as ‘the Magnificent’ (1449–1492). The relief portrait of that Florentine humanist and patron of the arts on the medal conferred with the award that bears his name was made by the sculptor Mario Pachioli. The German Design Council awards honour the best design achievements at an international level. An international jury of experts judges the design works.

›››››››› The jury stated Ojeda’s participation as ‘Outstanding and award-winning’ for being double award winner of the Red Dot Award: Communication Design 2018.
›››››››› The international Red Dot Design Award: Communication Design is one of the largest design competitions in the world. An international jury reviews and evaluates the submitted works according to criteria such as degree of innovation, functionality and formal quality. The award-winning products are exhibited before an international public in the Red Dot Design Museum. Red Dot awarded works are also presented in the Red Dot Design Museum Essen, as well as in more than a dozen world’s design metropolises with Red Dot on Tour.
